    Warehouse shipments

    Within the Warehouse Shipments list, by clicking on Process and then Carton it is possible to create the packages that must be managed for the warehouse shipment in question.

    On the rows of Warehouse Shipments the columns have been inserted:

    • Delivery sequence number: it is possible to define the sequence in which the goods will be delivered. This data is automatically inherited when the sequence is set on the Find to be ship page;
    • Ship-to grouping code: identifies the grouping code of the order. Based on this value, the system merges all orders with the same value into a single DDT;
    • gross weight: inherited from the item card;
    • net weight: inherited from the item card;
    • volume: inherited from the item card;
    • parcel: inherited from the item card;
    • pallet: inherited from the item card;

    In the warehouse shipment header from actions and then Cal. weight it is possible to calculate the weight of the shipment. The system automatically reports the total of:

    • gross weight,
    • net weight,
    • volume,
    • parcel,
    • pallet.

    based on how the Weight calculation field has been set in the **Advanced ship and recept setup ** page. For example, if the field has been set to cartons information, you need to manage the packages for warehouse shipments and then launch the calc. weight function. If the packages are not entered and the calc. weight function is launched, the system leaves the relative information at zero.
